Maurizio Fondriest, friend of Hotel Gambrinus

Hi everyone – bike enthusiasts or not,

My wife Ornella and I, and our children Maria Vittoria, Carlotta and Lorenzo, have been spending our holidays at Hotel Gambrinus for several years now.

Right from the start, a special feeling was created with the hotel managed by the Nicoletti family. Maybe it’s the cuisine with its incredible appetizer buffet (truly excellent and healthy), or our common passion for cycling, or perhaps the pleasant and friendly atmosphere…let’s just say it all appealed to us immediately.

I also rediscovered the places in Romagna where I trained as a professional back in the times of Alfa Lum Legnano in San Marino.

Ornella loves cycling and running too. However, I must admit in addition to offering many sports, Riccione is also a great place where we gladly go shopping and spend time at the beach.

I’d love to see you at Hotel Gambrinus. We’ll be there this year as soon as the Giro d’Italia (Tour of Italy) finishes (May 29 – June 3). Then we’ll travel to Castrocaro Terme (70 km from Riccione) where the Granfondo Maurizio Fondriest will be held Sunday June 5.
