The Italo Nicoletti International Trophy is a prestigious swimming competition held annually in Riccione, dedicated to the memory of Italo Nicoletti, the historic president of Polisportiva Comunale Riccione. The event, now in its 28th edition, will take place from June 6 to June 8, 2025, at the Stadio del Nuoto. This major event in the Italian swimming scene is organized by Polisportiva Comunale Riccione – Swimming Section.

The Stadio del Nuoto in Riccione, named after Italo Nicoletti – an unforgettable and beloved president of Polisportiva Comunale, and father of Grazia and Luca, owners of Hotel Gambrinus in Riccione – has long been a key venue for national and international swimming competitions. Over time, it has become one of the most important events in the Italian swimming calendar, attracting over 2,000 athletes.
